Me Charles Unterberg
Having earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) degree in 1993 and a law degree from the Université de Montréal in 2003, Me Charles Unterberg was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2004.
He joined St-Pierre Unterberg in 2005 as a nominal partner and practises civil and commercial law with the firm.
For small and medium-sized businesses—which constitute the majority of his clientele—Me Unterberg offers external litigation services, representing clients in areas such as commercial leasing, corporate law, bankruptcy, contracts, mortgage remedies, debt, labour relations and security.
For individuals and consumers, he provides services in the areas of insurance, liability, consumer law, enforcement of judgments (seizures, etc.), debt, labour relations (dismissal, discrimination) and latent defects.
Prior to entering the legal practice, Me Unterberg worked for a number of years in the private and public sectors, including automobile financing and human rights.
Me Unterberg is recognized for his ability to find suitable solutions through already initiated legal proceedings or by way of negotiations in order to avoid the inconvenience and costs of a trial for both plaintiffs and defendants.
